Workshop Description
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how we live, work, and connect. For rostered ministers, AI often provokes a mix of curiosity, ambiguity, and moral objection. But what if we shifted the conversation from anxiety to empowerment?
This pragmatic, 1-hour workshop is designed to help you navigate the integration of AI into your ministry with ethical clarity and theological grounding. We will unpack the ELCA’s recent guidance on AI, tackle real concerns around authenticity and energy consumption, and explore the crucial difference between passive AI consumption and intentional AI partnership.
Participants will learn the "C.R.E.A.T.E." framework for effective prompting and discover how AI can be used as a mirror to refine your own pastoral voice, rather than replace it. You will leave with actionable tools—including a free congregational AI policy template you can adapt for your context—and an invitation to join a comprehensive cohort for those ready to master AI for ministry.
